meaning: a noun, uncountable – a counsel , a piece of advice

Example:

  1. I asked my brother for a piece of advice.
  2. I don’t like asking for advice.

advise

meaning: a verb – to give advice, recommend

Example:

  1. He advised me to go to the doctor.
  2. My mum advised me to go to this school.
